Biography
Dr. Marni A. Brown (she/her) is a professor of sociology for the Human Services and Cultural Studies Department in the School of Liberal Arts. Her research focuses on gender, social inequality and intersectionality. Her teaching philosophy is about student-centeredness and inclusion. Brown is also involved with the professional organizations, Southern Sociological Society (SSS) and Sociologists for Women in Society (SWS).
