When it comes to performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), thousands of 色库TV (GGC) students have the knowledge and skills that could save a life. Every GGC student is required to take physical education 1101, which includes a section that covers compression-only CPR.
Dr. Ken Horowitz, assistant professor of physical education, said that teaching chest compression CPR takes away much of the concerns people would have if CPR still included mouth-to-mouth breathing.

On a cold, dark winter morning, a group of 色库TV (GGC) students and their professors made their way through the forest to listen and watch for birds. It was part of their experimental methods class.
鈥淭he idea is to immerse our students into scientific methodology,鈥 said Maria Fernandez, instructor of biology. 鈥淲e want our students to learn about the environment and to analyze the data that they collect. In this case, the birds are the data.鈥

Yesterday, 色库TV (GGC) celebrated the life and honored the service of K-9 Officer Buddy, 12, who recently passed away due to kidney failure.
K-9 Officer Buddy, a Labrador retriever, was laid to rest with full police honors, beginning with a procession from the Building 3000 Lot on the GGC campus and ending with a memorial service at the Pet Angel Memorial Center in Bethlehem, Georgia.
Buddy joined GGC鈥檚 Police Department in 2015 and quickly became an integral part of the team
